Zexion walked down the lonely hallway. It was like any other day except it was different. Today was his birthday. Occasionally, some of the members stopped him in the hall to say happy birthday, but Demyx, the one person he wanted a happy birthday from, was nowhere in sight. He looked in all of Demyx’s usual spots, but he still wasn’t anywhere. So he made his way quietly to the kitchen. He sat at the table and propped his feet up. He closed his eyes and remembered a certain birthday from a year ago. The year before he joined Organization XIII.
